Homoeopathic treatment for Migraine Headache Post menopausal Syndrome
A 50 year old female Mrs. PSH, had come with complaints of one sided headache since last five years. Either it pains on the left side or sometimes on the right side. She could experience a current shock like feeling during headache. She would also get burning sensation in the eyes during headache. All her complains started after her menopause.

No history of nausea or vomiting. All fruits especially grapes, banana, apple and orange aggravated her headache. She could not bear hot atmosphere and sunlight. Her thirst is less.
She had to work hard for daily income. She had no support from family members. She would get angry and frustration over husband. He does not earn well. She would feel better after crying but does not like to share to anybody even to her own children. She would get dreams of dead person occasionally.
She was given homoeopathic medicine Pulsatilla in infrequent doses over a period of 3-4 months. Her headache gradually reduced and by 6 to 7 months she recovered well.
Note: Pulsatilla used in this case is as per the indications. In all cases Pulsatilla cannot be given. Every case has its unique presentation for prescription. Same medicine cannot be used for all the patients suffering from same disease condition. Homoeopathic medicines should be always taken under physician’s guidance only. Self-medications are not safe and prone to side effects.
