Homoeopathic treatment for benign tumor Meniere’s disease
Homoeopathic treatment for benign tumor Meniere’s disease

A 60 year old female Mrs.STH, had come with complaints of swelling of about 4 cm by 5 cm size in the left submandibular region since last 2 years. It was initially a small swelling which gradually increased in size.

She also had complaints of tooth pain which was more while eating. She would experience vertigo once or twice in a week along tinnitus (hearing like sound Sur Sur).

Few weeks ago, she sometimes visualized fire spots like sparks before eyes with dryness of mouth, increased thirst, perspiration, restless and weakness. Sometimes she could feel darkness before her.

She looked dark, short and thin. Her thirst was less. Her perspiration was less. She had Menopause fifteen years back without any complains. Previously, her menses was too much of clots and black in color. During pregnancy she had experienced giddiness, nausea and vomiting throughout the pregnancy. Also she had a history of stillbirth.

She lived alone in village away from all her children. So whenever she was alone she would get constant thoughts about children. She would anticipate, if suddenly she met with a major health issue then nobody was there around to take care of her. She would weep whenever thoughts about her children arise. By nature, she would get angry very fast. During anger she would experience tingling sensation all over the body. Then she would remain quiet for some time. She would feel better after perspiration. If happened to hear somebody's death news or see dead body she would become anxious about her own death. Immediately she would experience tingling sensation all over the body. So she stopped attending funerals. During fear she would get perspiration of soles and palms with burning sensation. At the age of sixty also she wanted to work without rest. She would feel better.

She was given homoeopathic medicine Sepia in infrequent doses in variable potencies. Gradually all her complaints improved with marked reduction in the swelling. Advised for CT Scan but patient denied as she was not affordable.

Note: Sepia used in this case are as per the indications. In all cases Sepia cannot be given. Every case has its unique presentation for prescription. Same medicine cannot be used for all the patients suffering from same disease condition. Homoeopathic medicines should be always taken under physician’s guidance only. Self-medications are not safe and prone to side effects.
Case Record No.: PMG 07/12
