FEVER AND HOMOEOPATHIC MANAGEMENT

A  3 years old girl child had come with complaints of high grade fever which had a range between 102 to 103 degree Fahrenheit measured axillary on and off since last 2 days with profound weakness and sleepiness.

She did not have complaints of chillness, vomiting episodes, coryza, cough or any other complaints associated with fever.

She took allopathic medicine paracetamol syrup for fever as needed and was benefitted temporarily.

During fever she was too much clinging to her mother and always wanted mother near to her particularly during fever. After Fever, she would become active, playful and irritable. Thermally she was feeling hot. Her thirst, urine and stool were normal. Her appetite was much reduced since fever.

She was given homoeopathic medicine Pulsatilla Nigricans in infrequent doses as per the indications. She recovered well within 24 hours. She did not have fever. Her weakness, sleepiness and appetite also improved well.
