A 23 years old male had come with complaints of intense and recurrent watery coryza (watery running nose) with lachrymation (watering from eyes) which would give burning sensation around the eyes since last 2-3 years. His complaints was more pronounced during change of weather, at night, after head bath, after exposure to cold draft of air and dust. He felt temporarily better with allopathic treatment.

His appetite was much reduced since last 2 years. He would feel thirstier. He was able tolerate both warm and cold weather well. He had too much aversion of eating sweets which would induce nausea since childhood. He would perspire profusely all over body. His wound healing was appropriate.

By nature he was an angry person. He cannot tolerate contradiction at all. During anger he would hit others. He was courageous. His intellect and memory was average.

He was given homoeopathic medicine Mercurius Solubilis in infrequent doses as per the indications. He got completely recovered within three months after starting treatment.

Note: Mercurius Solubilis is used in this case as per the indications. In all cases Mercurius Solubilis cannot be given. Every case has it’s unique presentation for prescription.
