Headache Vertigo and Homoeopathy treatment

A 47 years old female Mrs. BGY, had come with complaints of recurrent headache with vertigo on and off since last four to five years. Her pain would radiate from eyebrows region to occipital region. She had a throbbing pain increased due to noise and was better with pressure. Her vertigo would remaining for 2 to 3 minutes and increased during change of position during sleep and while lying. She also had restlessness, blackout feeling along with trembling and palpitation. She would become very irritable with no desire to talk during headache.

Her appetite was good. She could not tolerate hot weather. Her thirst was less. She had profuse perspiration. She had a craving for eating spicy food.  She could not tolerate tight clothing. She had menopausal complaints of flushes and restlessness.

By nature, she was irritable and loquacious. She was sensitive to criticism. She could express anger easily towards others. She was dictatorial and haughty.

Patient was given homoeopathic medicine Lachesis in infrequent doses in variable potency as per the indications. She recovered within few months after the treatment.

Note: Lachesis used in this case is as per the indications. In all cases Lachesis cannot be given. Every case has its unique presentation for prescription. Same medicine cannot be used for all the patients suffering from same disease condition. Homoeopathic medicines should be always taken under physician’s guidance only. Self-medications are not safe and prone to side effects.
